E.J. Donaghey, CCUE
President/CEO
Mr. Donaghey is the President and CEO at the U of I Employees Credit Union. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Chicago, Donaghey has worked in the financial services industry for close to 25 years. During his career, he has worked at the international, national, state, and local levels. His experience includes work at the retail and wholesale level, working at credit unions as well as with credit unions as a business partner. Donaghey received his BS in both Business and Spanish at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, IL. He went on to earn his MBA from Northwestern University, J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Evanston, Illinois. He attended Kellogg’s top rated and ranked Executive MBA Program in 2001 and 2002. Donaghey is also a CCUE (Certified Credit Union Executive), in addition to a CLE (Credit Union League Executive). He remains committed to the Little Brothers & Sisters of the Poor (Chicago), and works locally with the Champaign West Rotary.
Greg Anderson, CCUE
Executive Vice President
Mr. Anderson is the Executive Vice President at the U of I Employees Credit Union. Anderson has almost 20 years of experience in the credit union movement and has been with the U of I Employees Credit Union since 1993. He has held positions in lending, marketing, operations, and member service over his credit union career. Anderson received his BS in Business at the University of Minnesota. He completed CUNA Management School in 1998 and received his Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) certification in 2000.
Jennifer Peyton
Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Peyton is the Chief Financial Officer at the U of I Employees Credit Union. She has been with the credit union for 17 years. Peyton received her BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her MBA from Eastern Illinois University.
Kim Cheek
VP Human Resources
Mrs. Cheek is the Vice President of Human Resources and Training at the U of I Employees Credit Union. She has been at the credit union for 15 years and was the first employee in Human Resources at the credit union. Cheek received a BS in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Chris Harlan
VP Sales & Service
Mr. Harlan is the Vice President of Sales & Service at the U of I Employees Credit Union. He joined the credit union in April 2009. Harlan received an Associates Degree from Parkland College and a BS Degree in Marketing from Illinois State University. He serves his community as the President of the Urbana Business Association and as a committee chair for the Champaign County Freedom Celebration.
Kevin Deptula
AVP Information Technology
Mr. Deptula is the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at the U of I Employees Credit Union. Deptula joined the credit union in 2001 with several years of IT related experience. Deptula has held multiple positions within the organization including Network/Systems Administrator, Information Technology Manager, and Information Technology Director.
Mary Stremming
AVP Lending
Mrs. Stremming is the Assistant Vice President of Lending at the U of I Employees Credit Union. Stremming attended the University of Illinois with a major in Agricultural Communications. She has been with the U of I Employees Credit Union since 1992 and has held multiple positions within the organization including Teller, Loan Service Supervisor, Executive Lending Specialist, and Lending Director.
