Five Points Ribbon Cutting
The U of I Employees Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of the new Five Points Branch in Urbana with a ribbon cutting on Friday, February 29, 2008 and a spectacular Grand Opening Week Celebration. Guests enjoyed great food and free giveaways, supplied by restaurants and businesses of the Urbana Community.

Five Points Branch Now Open!
The new Five Points Branch is now open. The new branch is located on the northwest corner of University and Cunningham Avenues at the Gateway Shoppes at Five Points in Urbana.
The lively orange and blue colors create a fun, fresh collegiate and community environment. A large scale wall mural features an iconic building that is part of the community. Amenities such as a Coffee Center, Tech Information Center, and Children's area create a comfortable experience for members. The design/build partner overseeing the project is DEI Incorporated, Cincinnati.
Established in 1932, UIECU is a not-for-profit, member-owned, full-service financial institution. They focus on creating lasting relationships that make a difference in the lives of members, in the community and to each other. The credit union currently serves members at its First Street Branch at 2201 South First Street in Champaign, its Five Points Branch at 206 East University Avenue in Urbana, and its campus branch inside the Illini Union in Urbana. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Champaign County.
